Role Summary
As a KS2 Teacher, you will take responsibility for a Key Stage 2 class, delivering engaging lessons that support strong academic progress and positive learning behaviours.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
- Teach English, mathematics and foundation subjects.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners.
- Establish positive classroom routines and high expectations for behaviour.
- Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share planning, resources and best practice.
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- A secure understanding of the National Curriculum.
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.
- A commitment to supporting the school's ethos and values.
Pay and Progression
Pay is determined using the national teacher pay scale.
This position is paid on the Inner London Teacher Pay Scale M1-M6 (£40,317-£52,463). The salary offered will reflect the successful candidate's current pay scale point, previous teaching experience and any applicable pay portability considerations, in line with the school's pay policy.
To be considered for this role, applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching within a UK primary school setting.
