Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Supply Teachers to work across a variety of mainstream primary schools throughout Kingston upon Thames and Richmond.

You'll have the opportunity to work across a range of welcoming primary schools, supporting pupils across different year groups and gaining valuable experience in a variety of educational environments.
Role Summary
As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will provide high-quality teaching cover across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, ensuring consistency of learning during teacher absences. Assignments may range from day-to-day cover to block bookings and longer temporary placements.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons across a range of primary year groups
- Follow existing lesson plans and adapt teaching where required
- Maintain a focused, positive learning environment through effective behaviour management
- Adapt quickly to different classrooms and school settings
- Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Support pupils with a range of learning needs and abilities
- Provide appropriate feedback on pupils' learning and progress
- Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity of learning
- Follow school safeguarding, behaviour and health and safety procedures
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Previous primary teaching experience, ideally within UK schools
- Good knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching
- The ability to work confidently across different primary settings
- Commitment to safeguarding and supporting children's wellbeing

Pay and Progression
This position offers a competitive daily PAYE rate, dependent on experience and individual assignment requirements.
Pay is determined using the national teacher pay scale. Teachers with significant UK primary teaching experience, strong behaviour management skills, experience teaching across multiple key stages and a proven ability to adapt quickly to different school environments are more likely to secure opportunities at the higher end of the available pay range.
