Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming primary schools in Kensington & Chelsea from October 2026. Opportunities are available within Early Years, Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2 and SEND support, making this an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to build their experience in education or continue an established support career.

Role Summary
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in delivering engaging lessons, provide targeted support to pupils, and contribute to creating a positive and productive learning environment.
Opportunities Available
- EYFS Classroom Support - Supporting children in Nursery and Reception.
- 1:1 SEND Support - Providing personalised learning and pastoral support.
- KS1 & KS2 Classroom Support - Working with individuals, small groups or whole classes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
- Work with pupils individually and in small groups to support learning.
- Assist with classroom organisation and preparation of resources.
- Encourage positive behaviour and pupil engagement.
- Support children's social, emotional and academic development.
- Follow safeguarding policies and school procedures.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and wider school staff.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience working with children is desirable.
- A calm, enthusiastic and reliable approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
- Availability to work 3-5 days per week.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
- Right to work in the UK.
Pay and Progression
The daily rate for this role ranges from £95 to £120 per day.
The highest rate is typically available to candidates who can demonstrate significant classroom experience, previous SEND support experience, relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications, intervention experience, or specialist skills supporting children with additional needs.
