We are currently looking for confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Redbridge.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Cover Supervisors, graduates considering a career in teaching, teaching assistants looking to progress, or individuals with relevant experience working with secondary-aged young people.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

  • Supervise classes during teacher absence.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials across a range of subjects.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
  • Ensure pupils remain focused and engaged with their work.
  • Follow school policies and procedures.
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff where required.
  • Support a positive and productive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with young people, ideally within a secondary school environment, or can demonstrate relevant transferable skills.
  • Is confident managing groups of pupils aged 11-18.
  • Has strong communication and behaviour management skills.
  • Is professional, reliable and adaptable.
  • Is comfortable covering a variety of subjects.
  • Has the legal right to work in the UK.
