Role Summary
As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will provide classroom cover across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. Assignments may include day-to-day supply, short-term bookings and longer-term placements, depending on your availability and individual school requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
- Follow lesson plans and adapt teaching where appropriate.
- Adjust quickly to different school environments and classroom routines.
- Create positive and inclusive learning environments.
- Maintain effective behaviour management and classroom routines.
- Support pupils with a range of learning needs and abilities.
- Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Provide feedback and handovers to school staff following assignments.
- Follow school safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Recent experience teaching within UK primary schools.
- Strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum.
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different school environments and year groups.
- Flexible, reliable and professional approach.
- Commitment to safeguarding and supporting children's wellbeing.
- Right to work in the UK.
Pay and Progression
The daily rate for these opportunities ranges from £155 to £195 per day, paid weekly through PAYE.
The highest rate of £195 per day is typically available to teachers who can demonstrate significant UK primary teaching experience, excellent behaviour management, strong curriculum knowledge across multiple key stages, and a proven ability to adapt quickly to different school environments. Pay is determined using the responsibilities of the assignment and relevant teaching experience.

Required Vetting
Successful applicants will be required to:
- Hold a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to complete a new application.
- Provide professional references covering recent employment.
- Provide evidence of QTS and relevant qualifications.
