Tradewind Recruitment is partnering with a highly regarded secondary school in Northampton to recruit a motivated Humanities Teacher for a January 2026 start. This full-time role is open to both experienced teachers and ECTs and offers the chance to deliver a broad Humanities curriculum aligned to your subject specialism.

The Role:

  • Teach Humanities across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with potential opportunities at Key Stage 5

  • Create engaging and inclusive lessons that promote enquiry, discussion, and critical thinking

  • Contribute to curriculum design, assessment, and ongoing development within the Humanities department

  • Adapt teaching strategies to support learners of all abilities and backgrounds

  • Play an active role in enrichment activities and the wider life of the school

  • Work closely with colleagues in a supportive and collaborative Humanities faculty

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised UK teaching qualification

  • Specialism in History, Geography, or Religious Education, with flexibility across Humanities

  • Strong classroom practice and secure subject knowledge

  • Excellent communication skills and positive behaviour management

  • A commitment to inclusive education and professional growth

  • Applications welcomed from ECTs and experienced practitioners
