We are working in partnership with a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in Northampton that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher for a January 2026 start. The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4 (with KS5 opportunities available)

  • Inspire curiosity and critical thinking about people, places, environments, and global issues

  • Use creative teaching approaches to bring topics such as climate change, sustainability, population, and urban change to life

  • Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to support learners of all abilities

  • Contribute to wider school life through enrichment activities, fieldwork opportunities, and departmental initiatives

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS/QTLS (or equivalent) and a Geography specialism

  • Strong subject knowledge and a confident, positive classroom presence

  • An innovative, reflective approach to teaching and learning

  • A commitment to inclusion, high expectations, and student progress

  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
