Start Date: November 2025
Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only (through to July 2026)
Hours: 8:15am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Pay: £95 per day

About the Role

Are you seeking a rewarding role as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant in a supportive Secondary SEN School in Ealing?
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced or aspiring SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly, inclusive school community from after half term in November through to the end of the academic year.

As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you'll support secondary-aged students with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism (ASC) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). You'll play a key role in helping students access learning, build confidence, and achieve personal goals in a positive and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a variety of SEN, including Autism and PMLD

  • Support pupils' personal care, communication, and mobility needs where required

  • Work collaboratively with class teachers, therapists, and other professionals to deliver tailored learning support

  • Encourage engagement, independence, and confidence among students

  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a passionate, reliable, and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant who:

  • Has experience supporting children or young people with SEN (especially Autism and/or PMLD)

  • Demonstrates patience, empathy, and resilience

  • Can work well both independently and as part of a collaborative team

  • Communicates effectively with students, staff, and parents

  • Is eager to make a lasting impact in the lives of students with additional needs
