🎓 Graduate Teaching Assistant - Primary School | Central Hackney

📍 Location: Central Hackney, East London (excellent transport links)

📅 Contract: January 2026 - July 2026 (Term Time Only)

🕒 Hours: 8:30am - 3:45pm, Monday to Friday

💷 Pay: £95 per day (rising to £114 after 12 weeks, PAYE)

SANZA Teaching Agency is proud to be working with a vibrant, high-achieving primary school in central Hackney, recruiting a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team from January 2026 through to July 2026.

🌟 About the Role

This is a full-time, 5-day-a-week position - ideal for a graduate who's passionate about education and committed to developing their classroom skills. You'll work closely with class teachers and the inclusion team to ensure all children are supported and engaged in their learning.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting learning across Key Stage 2 in both whole-class and small-group settings

Providing targeted support to pupils who need extra help, including those with additional learning needs

Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation

Helping pupils build confidence, independence, and a love of learning

Every day brings the chance to make a real difference - whether that's helping a pupil master a tricky maths concept or celebrating their progress in reading and writing.

🧠 What We're Looking For

A graduate (any discipline - Education, Psychology, Maths or English especially welcome)

Some experience supporting or working with children (in schools, tutoring, mentoring or youth settings)

A reliable, full-time commitment (Monday to Friday for the remainder of the school year)

A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team

A genuine passion for education and supporting young learners
