Pay: Competitive daily rate, paid in accordance with experience, qualifications and assignment requirements.
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join a secondary school in Tower Hamlets for an 8-week assignment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher to deliver engaging Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, supporting students to develop their knowledge, skills and confidence within the subject.
The Role
- Deliver Computer Science lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5.
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Support students in developing programming, computational thinking and theoretical understanding.
- Assess, monitor and report on student progress.
- Create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Maintain high expectations of behaviour, attendance and achievement.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues within the department and the wider school community.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching Computer Science within a secondary school setting.
- Is confident teaching across KS3, KS4 and KS5.
- Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Has excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Is committed to supporting students in achieving their full potential.
- Is available to commence the assignment at the earliest opportunity.
