Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming nursery in Fulham seeking qualified Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistants to provide flexible supply cover on an ongoing basis.
This opportunity offers the flexibility to choose from available weekly block bookings while benefiting from the consistency of working within the same nursery setting. It is ideal for experienced Early Years professionals looking to balance work around existing commitments without travelling between multiple settings.

Role Summary

As a Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will support day-to-day nursery provision across a range of rooms and age groups, helping to maintain high-quality EYFS practice while providing a safe and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support high-quality play-based learning across the EYFS
  • Assist children with daily nursery activities and routines
  • Maintain a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment
  • Support children's communication, social development and independence
  • Adapt confidently to different nursery rooms and age groups
  • Assist with observations and learning records where required
  • Support children with SEND and EAL needs
  • Work collaboratively with nursery practitioners and leaders
  • Follow nursery safeguarding, health and safety procedures

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:
  • A recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
  • Previous nursery or EYFS experience
  • A good understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Confidence adapting to different nursery rooms and routines
  • Knowledge of supporting children with SEND and EAL
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A flexible, reliable and proactive approach
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's wellbeing

Pay and Progression

This position offers £16-£19 per hour PAYE, depending on qualifications, experience and responsibilities.
Candidates holding a recognised Level 3 qualification with previous nursery experience may be considered from the lower end of the pay range.
Practitioners with extensive EYFS experience, strong knowledge of child development, experience supporting SEND and EAL, and the ability to work confidently across multiple age groups are more likely to secure opportunities at the top rate of £19 per hour PAYE.
