Tradewind Recruitment is working with a well-established nursery in Fulham looking for a qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join its team on a full-time, long-term temporary basis.

This opportunity would suit an experienced Early Years professional who is committed to supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing within a nurturing and stimulating nursery environment.

The Role

As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you'll support the delivery of engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS statutory framework and work collaboratively with colleagues to create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS.
• Supporting children's development across all seven areas of learning.
• Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating Early Years environment.
• Completing observations and assessments of children's progress.
• Contributing to children's learning journeys and developmental records.
• Supporting children with SEND and EAL where required.
• Encouraging children's communication, confidence and independence.
• Working collaboratively with other Early Years practitioners.
• Building positive professional relationships with parents and carers.
• Following safeguarding procedures and supporting children's wellbeing.

Who Should Apply?

To be considered for this position, you'll need:

• A relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification, essential.
• Previous experience working within an EYFS nursery setting.
• A strong understanding of the EYFS statutory framework and Development Matters.
• Experience delivering engaging, child-led and play-based learning.
• Experience completing observations and contributing to children's learning journeys.
• Knowledge of supporting children with SEND and EAL.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A warm, reliable and professional approach.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's wellbeing.

Salary

£27,000-£34,000 per annum, dependent on qualifications, experience and responsibilities.

Candidates holding a recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification with relevant nursery experience may be considered towards the lower end of the advertised range.

Candidates with more extensive EYFS experience, strong observation and assessment skills, relevant SEND and EAL experience, and demonstrated experience contributing to high-quality Early Years provision may be considered towards the higher end of the advertised range.
