Pay: £95 - £110 per day

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a supportive secondary school in Greenwich on a temporary, full-time basis.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work alongside teaching staff to support students across the school. Responsibilities may include:

  • Providing one-to-one and small-group support to students
  • Supporting students with their learning and engagement in lessons
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
  • Helping to create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Supporting students' educational, social and emotional development where appropriate
  • Assisting with classroom activities and maintaining a positive learning environment

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children or young people is preferred
  • A degree is preferred
  • A genuine interest in supporting students within a secondary school environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A patient, supportive and professional approach
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a wider school team
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
