We are partnering with a number of well-regarded secondary schools across Kettering that are seeking enthusiastic and dependable Classroom Supervisors to join them from February 2026 on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis.

What Does a Classroom Supervisor Do?

In this role, you'll be responsible for supervising lessons during teacher absences. You won't be expected to teach new content - instead, you'll ensure students stay on task, complete the work set, and follow school routines.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing lessons across different subjects at Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Maintaining order and encouraging positive behaviour in the classroom

  • Supporting students in understanding and completing set work

  • Reporting any behavioural or academic concerns to appropriate staff

  • Assisting with general school duties, including corridor and break supervision

  • Representing the school's values as a positive adult role model
