Teaching Assistant

Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time (flexible)
Salary: £90-£95 per day (dependent on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming and supportive school in the Kettering area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development, whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant or looking to gain valuable classroom experience.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 or small group basis

  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management

  • Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

  • Supporting pupils with additional needs where required

  • Encouraging student confidence, independence, and progress

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have experience working with children (school-based experience desirable)

  • Be patient, caring, and adaptable

  • Have strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

  • Hold (or be willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
