Job Title: Part-Time ESOL Teacher (Secondary)
Location: Fairlop, London
Working Pattern: 2 Days per Week
Start Date: ASAP

We are looking to appoint a motivated and committed ESOL Teacher to join our mainstream Jewish secondary school based in Fairlop. This is a part-time role (two days per week), starting as soon as possible, supporting students for whom English is an Additional Language.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted ESOL/EAL support to secondary-aged pupils

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that support language development and curriculum access

  • Assess, track, and report on students' progress

  • Work collaboratively with subject teachers and support staff to meet learners' needs

  • Support students' integration, confidence, and academic achievement

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience teaching ESOL/EAL, ideally within a secondary school setting

  • A relevant teaching qualification (QTS desirable but not essential)

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • A flexible, proactive, and supportive approach to teaching

  • An understanding of, or willingness to work within, a Jewish school ethos
