Job Title: Special Needs Teacher - Secondary

Location: Newham, London
Hours: Full-Time
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Special Needs Teacher to join a secondary school in Newham. This full-time role involves supporting students with additional learning needs, enabling them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of students with SEN

  • Monitor, assess, and report on student progress

  • Collaborate with subject teachers, support staff, and external agencies

  • Promote positive behaviour, confidence, and independence

  • Contribute to the development of an inclusive and supportive school environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching secondary students with special educational needs

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Patience, resilience, and creativity in lesson delivery

  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment
