We are seeking a dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to provide tailored support for students, particularly within intervention classes, ensuring they can access the curriculum effectively.
The Role:
As a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with individual students who require additional support, helping them to engage with lessons, build confidence, and achieve their learning goals. You will play a key role in delivering targeted intervention programmes and monitoring student progress.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one support for students with additional learning needs
Assist in intervention classes to support academic progress
Adapt resources and teaching strategies to meet individual needs
Monitor and report on student progress
Support positive behaviour and inclusion within the classroom
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENDCO, and other staff
About You:
Experience supporting students in a 1:1 or small group setting
Strong understanding of SEND and intervention strategies
Patient, empathetic, and adaptable
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
