Behaviour Manager - Secondary Schools (Lambeth)

Full-time | 5 days per week

We are seeking a committed and resilient Behaviour Manager to work across a number of inclusive and supportive secondary schools in Lambeth. This is a full-time role, ideal for someone passionate about positive behaviour, student wellbeing, and making a meaningful difference in young people's lives.

The Role

As a Behaviour Manager, you will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour for learning and supporting students to re-engage with their education. You will work closely with senior leaders, pastoral teams, teachers, and external professionals to ensure consistent and effective behaviour strategies are in place.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting students with behavioural, emotional, and social needs

  • Managing behaviour incidents calmly and consistently in line with school policies

  • Delivering targeted interventions, mentoring, and restorative approaches

  • Building strong, positive relationships with students and staff

  • Supporting pupils both in and out of the classroom to remain engaged in learning

  • Contributing to a safe, inclusive, and respectful school environment

About You

  • Experience working with secondary-aged students, ideally in a behaviour, pastoral, or SEN-related role

  • Confident, calm, and consistent approach to behaviour management

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • A genuine commitment to inclusion, safeguarding, and student development

  • Ability to work across different school settings and adapt to varied needs
