We are currently partnering with a number of progressive secondary schools in Northampton looking to appoint enthusiastic Biology Teachers from October 2025. Whether you're seeking a permanent post or a long-term placement, these roles offer an excellent opportunity to teach in schools where Science is highly valued and well-resourced.
The Role:
Deliver engaging and well-structured Biology lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the option to teach A-Level Biology if desired
Inspire students through practical investigations, real-world biological applications, and a clear passion for the subject
Differentiate effectively to meet the needs of all learners and support student progress across the ability range
Collaborate with colleagues in the Science department to plan curriculum content, assessments, and enrichment activities
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Holds QTS, QTLS, or an internationally recognised equivalent teaching qualification
Strong subject knowledge in Biology, and ideally confident in teaching some general Science at lower Key Stages
A reflective and resilient teacher with strong behaviour management and communication skills
Committed to evidence-informed practice and ongoing professional growth
Willing to play an active role in the wider school community
