English Teacher
Location: Northampton
Start Date: January 2026 | Full-Time | Permanent or Long-Term

We're working with several welcoming and well-resourced secondary schools across Northampton that are seeking a talented English Teacher to join their teams from January 2026. Whether you're looking for a permanent post or a long-term opportunity, we have a range of full-time positions to suit your ambitions.

Your Role Will Include:

  • Teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4 (some schools also offer KS5 for suitable candidates)

  • Creating lessons that ignite discussion, spark creativity, and strengthen communication skills

  • Supporting students of all abilities through inclusive and engaging teaching

  • Helping to shape the English curriculum and contribute to collaborative department planning

  • Leading or supporting extra-curricular opportunities such as reading clubs, creative writing groups, or school publications

We're Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds QTS/QTLS or an equivalent teaching qualification in English

  • Brings strong subject knowledge and a passion for literature, language, and learning

  • Builds positive relationships and maintains high expectations in the classroom

  • Enjoys working as part of a supportive team, sharing ideas and best practice

  • Is either an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to grow with strong guidance
