Job Description

Teacher - Primary KS2

Start date: September 2025
Salary: M1 - MPS4 (Inner London)
Location: North West London

SANZA Teaching Agency, proudly recognised as one of the Sunday Times Top 100 Companies to Work For, is delighted to be working with a vibrant, imaginative and nurturing SEND school in North West London. This exceptional setting is looking for a Creative SEND Teacher to join their team in September 2025, bringing passion, energy, and originality to a truly inspiring learning environment.

This is a dream role for a mainstream-trained teacher with a flair for creativity and a genuine interest in special education. Whether you're an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or stepping up from a few years of classroom experience (up to MPS4), this role offers the chance to think outside the box, break the mould, and teach in a school where no two days are the same.

About the Role

  • Lead a small KS2 class of 8 pupils, all following a personalised version of the national curriculum.
  • Design and deliver lessons that are imaginative, hands-on, and rich in sensory and visual learning.
  • Enjoy the freedom to be playful, bold and holistic in your approach - whether through art, drama, music, outdoor learning or storytelling.
  • Work in a team that values creative risk-taking, collaborative thinking, and child-led exploration.
  • Full-time position with excellent support from experienced TAs and in-house therapists.

About the School

  • A joyful, artistic and community-focused SEND school with a strong ethos of nurturing the whole child.
  • Curriculum delivery is dynamic and multi-sensory, with a balance of structure and spontaneity.
  • Weekly enrichment activities such as forest school, drama workshops, art therapy and musical sessions.
  • School culture fosters curiosity, kindness, creativity, and connection.
  • Set in leafy NW London, the school is well-connected by public transport and offers a welcoming, family-like atmosphere.

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a teacher who:

  • Holds QTS and has experience teaching in a primary classroom (mainstream or SEND).
  • Is artistic, expressive, and child-centred, with a strong sense of imagination and humour.
  • Believes in the power of creativity to unlock learning, build confidence and support emotional well-being.
  • Has a positive, can-do attitude and thrives in a collaborative team setting.
  • Wants to be part of something meaningful, joyful and genuinely life-changing.
