🔬 Science Technician - Secondary School - Tower Hamlets - September Start 🔬

📍 Location: Tower Hamlets, East London

📚 School Type: Secondary (ages 11-16)
🕒 Contract: Full-time, term-time only
💰 Salary: £95-£110 per day (depending on experience)

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and set up equipment and materials for practical science lessons (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)

  • Ensure all apparatus and chemicals are stored, maintained, and handled safely

  • Support teaching staff during experiments and demonstrations

  • Maintain accurate stock records and order resources when needed

  • Ensure the science labs are clean, safe, and well-organised

  • Adhere to health & safety and COSHH regulations at all times

🔹 Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working in a science lab (school or industry) is preferred

  • Sound knowledge of health & safety procedures, including COSHH

  • Excellent organisation and time management skills

  • A science-related qualification (A-level or higher)

  • A proactive, reliable, and team-focused approach

  • Previous school-based experience is desirable but not essential
