A welcoming primary school in Milton Keynes is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join their team on a permanent basis from September 2026. Key Responsibilities:
Support the delivery of high-quality PE sessions across the primary age range
Coach pupils across a variety of sports during curriculum lessons, clubs, and enrichment activities
Plan and deliver engaging activities that encourage participation and enjoyment
Support the organisation of school sports events, competitions, and fixtures
Encourage teamwork, confidence, resilience, and positive attitudes towards physical activity
Support pupils of all abilities, including those who may need additional encouragement to participate
Help create a fun, inclusive, and energetic sporting environment
Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff to support the wider PE curriculum
What We're Looking For:
A strong passion for sport, PE, fitness, and working with children
Experience coaching, mentoring, or supporting young people (school, club, or community setting desirable)
Confident, enthusiastic, and able to engage pupils of all abilities
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A proactive, reliable, and positive approach
Ability to encourage participation and create an inclusive sporting environment
Relevant sports qualifications (e.g. Sports Coaching, Sports Science degree, or coaching badges) are welcomed but not essential
