Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate Student Support Officer to join a secondary school in the Corby area.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people and making a positive impact on students' wellbeing, behaviour, and overall school experience.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

• Provide pastoral and behavioural support to students across the school
• Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
• Support attendance, punctuality, and student engagement
• Work closely with safeguarding and pastoral teams
• Help students overcome barriers to learning
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive school environment

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with young people in a school or similar setting
• Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Is calm, patient, and resilient
• Has excellent behaviour management and conflict resolution skills
• Is passionate about supporting student wellbeing and achievement
• Previous pastoral or safeguarding experience is desirable but not essential
