The Role
You will support the science department by preparing and maintaining laboratory equipment and materials. You will assist teachers during lessons, ensure resources are ready, and help maintain a safe and organised lab environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing and setting up equipment and materials for science lessons
* Supporting practical experiments and demonstrations in the classroom
* Maintaining and cleaning laboratory apparatus and workspaces
* Managing stock and ensuring chemicals and equipment are safely stored
* Assisting with health and safety compliance in the laboratory
* Supporting students and teachers with practical activities when required

Requirements:
* Previous UK-based school experience is essential and candidates without this will not be considered
* Experience working in a school science environment or similar practical setting
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* A proactive and detail-oriented approach
* A genuine interest in supporting science education and student learning
