Teaching Assistant - Ealing

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and the wider support team to assist students across the classroom. You will help create a positive learning environment, support lesson activities, and provide additional support to students who may need extra guidance to reach their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
  • Working with small groups and individual students to reinforce learning
  • Assisting with classroom behaviour management and maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Supporting students with varying learning needs, including those who may require additional support
  • Helping to prepare classroom resources and materials
  • Encouraging student participation, confidence and independence in learning

Requirements:

  • Previous UK-based secondary school experience is essential and candidates without this will not be considered
  • Experience supporting young people in a classroom setting
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive, patient and supportive approach
  • A genuine passion for supporting students' education and development
