Job Description
A diverse and forward-thinking secondary school in Hackney is looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support students both academically and pastorally.
This role is ideal for graduates or experienced support staff who enjoy working closely with young people and want to build meaningful relationships within a school environment.
Pay: £90 - £105 per day
Contract: Full-time, term-time only | Long-term
Your role will include:
- Supporting students in class and during intervention sessions
- Working with pupils who may have SEN or additional learning needs
- Supporting behaviour, engagement and classroom routines
- Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and resources
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with secondary-aged students
- Is calm, resilient and confident in the classroom
- Communicates well and works effectively as part of a team
