1:1 Teaching Assistant (SEN/SEND Focus)
Location: BSouth Birmingham and surrounding areas
Salary: £95 - £105 per day (dependent on experience and role)

Are you a compassionate individual dedicated to making a real difference in a child's education? We are seeking 1:1 Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs across Birmingham's primary schools.
Key Responsibilities
- Tailored Support: Provide dedicated 1:1 assistance to students with SEN (e.g., Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or physical disabilities).
- Implement Plans: Work closely with teachers to deliver Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and "Now and Next" strategies.
- Progress Monitoring: Observe and record student progress, reporting back to teachers and SEN Coordinators.
- Foster Independence: Create a calm, nurturing environment that encourages the student's confidence and social development.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience supporting children with additional needs or a strong passion for entering the SEN sector.
- Qualifications: Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred but not always essential for entry-level roles.
- Key Skills: Patience, resilience, and excellent communication skills.
- Safety: An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) and knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
