SEN Teaching Assistant - Stanmore

A welcoming primary school in Stanmore is looking for a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to start immediately. You'll work closely with a pupil on the Autism spectrum, providing personalised support to help them access lessons, develop social skills, and achieve their full potential. This is a highly rewarding role where your contribution will make a real difference every day.

The school has excellent SEND facilities, including a specialist unit and tailored resources to support learning and development. You will join a friendly, skilled team committed to creating a nurturing, positive environment for all pupils.

You'll be patient, compassionate, and proactive, delivering tailored support and working closely with the teaching team. You will help the pupil feel confident, secure, and motivated, while supporting their learning, independence, and well-being.

The role offers opportunities to develop your skills and gain valuable experience in Autism support, with the potential for permanent employment for the right candidate.
