SEN Teaching Assistant - Full-Time, Immediate Start - Southwark Secondary School

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive mainstream secondary school in Southwark. This full-time, long-term position is available for an immediate start, offering the chance to make a lasting impact supporting students with special educational needs in a vibrant school setting.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students with a range of SEND, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties. You'll support them both in and out of the classroom, helping to create an inclusive learning environment and enabling every student to thrive.

This role requires:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people (school, youth work, or care settings)

  • A valid DBS on the Update Service

  • Experience supporting students with SEND (required or strongly desired)

  • A proactive and patient approach, with excellent communication skills
