School Business Manager - High Wycombe
High Wycombe based School hiringexperienced School Business Manager for September 2025. The role offers a structured pay scale system, based on experience, in a term time only position. The school seeks a professional who prides themselves on strategical success in school business management, the qualifying candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to structure long term planning in short-notice scenarios.
Key Responsibilities:
- School budget management in line with local authority requirements
- Oversee the financial management of the school
- Support School auditing and compliance
- Lead on lettings and external incomes
- Monitor funding
- Oversee recruitment, vetting and existing employee structures
- Liaise with payroll, supporting queries
- HR Policy updating and maintaining
- Promote and signpost staff well-being services
- Collaborate with SLT and Site Team to ensure Health & Safety management
- Line manage departmental staff
School Business Manager Requirements:
- A resilient, proactive and personable individual with strong organisational skills
- Experienced in administration, finance and/or operations (education sector preferred but not essential)
- An excellent communicator, comfortable liaising with external agencies and staff
- Someone who remains calm under pressure and handles sensitive matters with confidentiality
- Financially literate, tech-savvy, and confident managing budgets and systems
- Possesses natural leadership abilities and a hands-on approach
- High Wycombe based or reliably commutable to the area
