SEN Teaching Assistant - Enfield

Location: Enfield
Salary: £90-£100 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only
Start Date: Mid-March

A welcoming secondary school in Enfield is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team in mid-March. This rewarding role is perfect for someone committed to helping students reach their full potential - academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-class support for students with SEN, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
  • Assist teachers in adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs.
  • Work one-on-one and in small groups to enhance student engagement.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and social development.
  • Collaborate with the SENCO and teaching staff to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
