Schools in Enfield are preparing for upcoming GCSE and A-level exams and need support from the local community. Exams will take place on various dates for the Summer exams season from May to June.
Role and Hours
Invigilation sessions run in the mornings and afternoons, offering the flexibility to work half or full days. Typical hours are:
- Morning: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Afternoon: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
- Full day: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Please note that start and finish times may vary.
Responsibilities
As an Examination Invigilator, you will:
- Ensure the security of exam papers and conduct exams in line with regulations.
- Assist in seating candidates and provide key information about exam procedures.
- Ensure students have the necessary materials.
- Support students who require assistance with reading and writing when needed.
Full training will be provided.
Pay and Requirements
- Pay: £46 for a half day, £83 for a full day.
- Requirements:
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to exam regulations.
- An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply).
- A CV covering the last 10 years of employment (where possible).
- Legal right to work in the UK.
