The Role:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide tailored support to students with learning difficulties, working 1:1 and in small groups within mainstream classes.
- Assist with delivering personalised learning plans and adapting materials to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure students receive the best possible support.
- Encourage and motivate students to develop their confidence, independence, and love for learning.
- Help to monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers, parents, and relevant stakeholders.
About You:
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a degree (any subject considered, though education or psychology is desirable).
- Is passionate about working with young people and supporting their development.
- Is empathetic, patient, and able to build positive relationships with students.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Previous experience in a similar role or working with children is an advantage but not essential.
