Secondary Teaching Assistant
Location: Haringey
Pay: £95-£110 per day
Start Date: September 2026

Tradewind Recruitment is working alongside a welcoming secondary school in Haringey that is looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant who can positively influence students both inside and outside the classroom.

Responsibilities

You'll become an integral member of the support team by:

  • Assisting teachers during lessons.
  • Providing targeted intervention support.
  • Supporting pupils with SEND and additional learning needs.
  • Encouraging excellent classroom behaviour.
  • Helping students develop organisational and study skills.
  • Supervising students during breaktimes when required.
  • Promoting inclusion across the school.

The Successful Candidate

You will ideally have:

  • Experience supporting young people.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong behaviour management skills.
  • Ability to motivate and encourage students.
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude.
