Job Description
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Oldham is looking to appoint a committed Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis from September.
The year group will be matched to the successful candidate's strengths and experience, and applications are encouraged from teachers confident across Years 3 to 6.
The school is dedicated to delivering a broad, engaging curriculum that builds on prior learning while developing pupils' knowledge of the wider world and enhancing their cultural capital.
As the KS2 Teacher, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, purposeful lessons in line with the National Curriculum, with the opportunity to bring creativity into your teaching
- Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and promoting excellent behaviour
- Use effective assessment strategies to monitor progress and plan targeted interventions
- Create engaging and accessible lessons using a range of teaching approaches, including the use of technology

The successful candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience or a strong interest in KS2
- Demonstrate a commitment to high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour
- Have a strong understanding of supporting pupils with a range of needs, including SEND
- Be able to provide strong professional references
- Be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check and overseas police check (if applicable)

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
