SEN Teacher - Complex Needs | Full-Time | Southend | September Start

Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a specialist setting in the Southend On Sea area, seeking an experienced and committed SEN Teacher to support pupils with complex needs on a full-time basis from September.

This role involves working with pupils who require a highly structured, individualised approach to learning. The school provides a well-supported environment with experienced support staff, clear routines, and a strong emphasis on communication, independence, and emotional development.

The Role:

  • Full-time SEN Teacher
  • September start
  • Teaching pupils with complex needs, including ASD and associated learning difficulties
  • Planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet individual EHCP targets
  • Working closely with support staff, therapists, and families

The Setting:

  • Specialist provision with a strong, collaborative staff team
  • High staff-to-pupil ratios
  • Focus on consistency, routine, and pupil wellbeing

  • Have experience working within SEN, particularly with complex needs
  • Be patient, adaptable, and resilient
  • Be confident in differentiating learning to meet a wide range of abilities
  • Have strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Be committed to supporting both the academic and personal development of pupils
