3 days per week | Competitive daily rate £150-£220 depending on experience

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Geography Teacher to join a successful secondary academy in Manchester.

This is a part-time temporary role starting as soon as possible for at least three months to cover a sickness absence. The school is looking for an engaging teacher who can deliver high quality Geography lessons and support students across Key Stage 3 and GCSE.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive academy with strong leadership, excellent student behaviour and modern facilities. As part of a large academy trust, the school will not be Ofsted inspected again until September 2026, providing stability and a strong focus on teaching and learning.

The Role

Teacher of Geography and Humanities
Part-time - Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
8:15am - 3:00pm
Teaching Key Stage 3 and GCSE Geography
Planning and delivering engaging lessons
Strong behaviour management and use of assessment to support progress
Ability to teach History, RE or English would be beneficial

The school welcomes applications from Early Career Teachers, experienced QTS teachers and FE qualified teachers with experience teaching Geography in UK secondary schools.

To be considered for this role you must hold QTS or QTLS, have experience teaching Geography in a UK secondary school, have the legal right to work in the UK and be willing to complete an Enhanced DBS disclosure, overseas police checks (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
