Experienced 1:1 Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to work across a range of inclusive and supportive secondary schools in Croydon. This is a full-time position (5 days per week), ideal for someone passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential.
The Role:
You will work closely with individual students on a 1:1 basis, providing tailored academic, behavioural, and emotional support in and out of the classroom. You will collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to ensure students are fully supported and able to access the curriculum effectively.

Requirements:
Previous and relevant experience as a 1:1 LSA, ideally within a secondary school setting
Experience supporting students with SEN, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
A patient, resilient, and proactive approach
