The Role

  • Teaching engaging and well-structured Mathematics lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities available in some schools)

  • Planning lessons that develop fluency, reasoning, and exam confidence

  • Differentiating effectively to support learners of varying abilities

  • Working collaboratively within a supportive and well-organised Maths department

  • Contributing to wider school life, including enrichment activities such as Maths clubs, STEM initiatives, or competitions

The Ideal Candidate

  • A qualified Mathematics Teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)

  • Strong subject knowledge and confidence delivering the GCSE Maths curriculum

  • A passion for making Mathematics accessible, engaging, and enjoyable

  • A positive, committed professional with strong classroom practice

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply, with schools offering strong induction and mentoring support
