About you - 1:1 Teaching Assistant - Daventry, Northamptonshire
- Provides consistent, tailored one-to-one support aligned with the pupil's EHCP and individual targets
- Develops a trusting, positive relationship that helps the pupil feel safe, understood, and supported
- Uses calm, patient, and predictable approaches to support emotional regulation and behaviour
- Adapts learning activities to ensure accessibility, engagement, and progress
- Implements specialist strategies (e.g. visual supports, sensory regulation, structured routines) effectively
- Works closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals to deliver targeted support
