Role Overview:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Physics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach A-Level Physics where applicable

  • Bring lessons to life with practical experiments, demonstrations, and real-world applications

  • Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of learners across all abilities, helping every student achieve their potential

  • Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment, and departmental initiatives

  • Support extra-curricular STEM activities, clubs, and educational trips

  • Play an active role in promoting a positive, inclusive school culture

Candidate Profile:

  • Holds QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

  • Strong subject knowledge in Physics, with confidence teaching general Science at KS3

  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of all abilities

  • Reflective, adaptable, and committed to ongoing professional development

  • Motivated to contribute to the wider school community and departmental initiatives
