URGENT OPPORTUNITY - KS1 Learning Support Assistant / Practitioner / £90-£100 per day, paid weekly


Location: Watford, Hertfordshire
Start Date: 5th January 2026
Contract: Fixed Term until July 2026 (initially)
Hours: 27.5 per week - Monday to Friday, 9:15am-3:15pm (30-minute lunch)
Salary: £90-£100 per day

We are urgently seeking a dedicated KS1 TA / LSA / LSP with a strong pastoral focus. This is your chance to make a direct, meaningful difference to children at a crucial stage of their development-emotionally, socially, and academically.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide targeted learning and emotional support for Year 1 pupils

  • Deliver small-group and 1:1 pastoral interventions

  • Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

  • Work collaboratively with teachers and the wider support team to meet individual needs

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience in Early Years or KS1 (highly advantageous)

  • Genuine passion for child development and emotional well-being

  • Willingness to train in the Thrive approach (if not already familiar)

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
