🌟 SEN Teaching Assistant - KS2 (1:1 Support - SEMH)
Full-Time | Primary School | Camden 🌟
We are currently recruiting a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school based in Camden. This is a full-time, long-term role supporting a KS2 pupil on a 1:1 basis who has Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and an EHCP in place.
About the Role
Providing consistent 1:1 support for a KS2 child with SEMH
Following and implementing the pupil's EHCP targets
Supporting emotional regulation, behaviour management, and learning engagement
Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals
Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment
Encouraging positive relationships and promoting resilience and independence

What We're Looking For
Experience supporting children with SEMH or challenging behaviour
Calm, patient, and empathetic approach
Ability to build strong rapport and communicate effectively
Resilience and confidence in managing dysregulation or emotional outbursts
A proactive, child-centered practitioner
Available full-time, Monday to Friday
