Are you a motivated graduate ready to begin your journey into the world of teaching?

We are partnering with a number of welcoming secondary schools across Daventry who are seeking enthusiastic and committed graduates to join them as Graduate Teachers from September 2025. This is the perfect stepping stone if you're considering a career in education or want to gain valuable classroom experience before applying for teacher training.

Many of our partner schools offer clear progression routes into teacher training, meaning this role can lead directly into a School Direct, SCITT, or PGCE the following academic year-often within the same school where you've built your experience.

What the Role Involves:

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons and supporting learning across a range of subjects

  • Providing one-to-one or small group intervention for students who need additional support

  • Supporting behaviour management and contributing to a positive learning environment

  • Assisting teachers with lesson preparation, marking, and general classroom administration

  • Building the school-based experience essential for progressing into formal teacher training

Who This Role is Ideal For:

  • Graduates from any subject background-especially core subjects and humanities

  • Individuals with experience working with young people (tutoring, mentoring, youth work, clubs, coaching, etc.)

  • Confident communicators with a genuine interest in education and student development

  • Aspiring teachers seeking a direct pathway into school-based training routes

  • Reliable, enthusiastic, and proactive individuals who want to make a meaningful impact

What We Offer:

  • Full-time Graduate Teacher opportunities in supportive Daventry secondary schools

  • Competitive daily pay with weekly payroll

  • A clear route into teacher training, including School Direct and SCITT pathways

  • Free CPD such as safeguarding, behaviour management, and SEND training (via The National College)

  • Continued guidance, support, and mentoring to help you progress into qualified teaching

If you're ready to gain hands-on classroom experience and take your first step toward becoming a qualified teacher-potentially within the same school-we'd love to support your journey.
