Technology Teacher - DT / RM - St Albans, Hertfordshire
Full-Time | Long-Term Position | January Start, temp to permanent post
Tradewind Recruitment are working closely with one of our Outstanding partnership schools to source a DT Teacher from January on a full time, temp to perm basis.
This is a well run and high achieving school where staff are respected by pupils and looked after by SLT. The department is 3 strong and has scope for Teachers of all experience level including Head Of Department. This is a long-term, full-time basis, following a January resignation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher able to offer DT to pupils in KS3 and / or 4 and can demonstrate a passionate approach to teacher and develop lasting relationships with pupils.
Design and Technology Teacher - Key Responsibilities:
Teach DT across Key Stages 3 & 4, with a focus on practical application, including Product Design / DT / RM Graphics
Deliver engaging lessons that integrate real-world technical and design skills
Support students working towards technical qualifications and industry-standard outcomes
Ensure health and safety procedures are followed in all workshop and classroom activities

Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent experience
A degree in Design and Technology, Engineering, or a related subject
Experience teaching DT at KS 3 & 4
The ability to demonstrate strong subject knowledge and practical expertise in workshop-based learning
