SANZA Teaching Agency is delighted to be recruiting for a part-time Year 1 Teacher at a friendly, two-form entry primary school in Richmond Upon Thames. This position is ideal for a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher who would like to work two days a week within a nurturing and engaging learning environment.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and creative part-time Year 1 Teacher to join a collaborative KS1 team. The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver (mostly pre-planned) exciting, high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum

  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom that inspires confidence and curiosity

  • Work closely with year group colleagues to share ideas and best practices

  • Encourage every pupil to develop independence and a love of learning

  • Contribute to the wider school community through teamwork and positivity

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised overseas teaching qualification

  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (KS1) (preferred)

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills as a teacher

  • Passion for inspiring and supporting young learners

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • A flexible and positive approach to part-time working
