Teacher of Health & Social Care - Full Time - January 2026 Start

Are you an experienced or aspiring Health & Social Care teacher with a passion for inspiring young people? Tradewind Recruitment is currently supporting a Liverpool secondary school in their search for a Teacher of Health & Social Care to join their team from January 2026. This is a full-time role, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

About the Role:

• Teacher of Health & Social Care - KS4 and KS5
• January 2026 start
• Full-time, with potential for permanent placement
• MPS/UPS + possible TLR (depending on experience)

The Role Will Involve:

• Delivering engaging and high-quality lessons in Health & Social Care at both Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5
• Planning and assessing in line with national curriculum and BTEC specifications
• Supporting student progress through effective differentiation and strong classroom management
• Contributing to the development of the subject area within a supportive department

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Have recent experience teaching Health & Social Care, ideally including BTEC at KS4/KS5
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for working with young people
• Be committed to raising standards and improving outcomes for all students
• Be available full time from January 2026
