Teacher of Health & Social Care - Full Time - January 2026 Start
Are you an experienced or aspiring Health & Social Care teacher with a passion for inspiring young people? Tradewind Recruitment is currently supporting a Liverpool secondary school in their search for a Teacher of Health & Social Care to join their team from January 2026. This is a full-time role, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
About the Role:
- Teacher of Health & Social Care - KS4 and KS5
- January 2026 start
- Full-time, with potential for permanent placement
- MPS/UPS + possible TLR (depending on experience)
The Role Will Involve:
- Delivering engaging and high-quality lessons in Health & Social Care at both Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5
- Planning and assessing in line with national curriculum and BTEC specifications
- Supporting student progress through effective differentiation and strong classroom management
- Contributing to the development of the subject area within a supportive department
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Have recent experience teaching Health & Social Care, ideally including BTEC at KS4/KS5
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for working with young people
- Be committed to raising standards and improving outcomes for all students
- Be available full time from January 2026

* Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
