Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support - Medical Needs) - Immediate Start - Kirkby
A secondary school in the Kirkby area is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 8 pupil with medical needs, including the management of a catheter. This is a temporary, ongoing role to start as soon as possible.
The role requires a calm, caring, and discreet individual who can build trust and offer consistent support, both in the classroom and with the pupil's personal care needs during the school day.

Location: Kirkby, Merseyside
Contract Type: Temporary, ongoing
Hours: Full-time, term-time only
Setting: Secondary School
Pupil Needs: 1:1 support for a medical care plan involving catheter use
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational or care setting
- Is confident supporting pupils with medical or personal care needs
- Shows empathy, professionalism, and patience at all times
- Has (or is willing to obtain) a Child Workforce Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service
